Shipping, Returns & Refund Policy

We ship across India and to select countries worldwide. Shipping rates and delivery times depend on the destination of your order. Everything you need to know is below.


Shipping

Every order is carefully inspected and dispatched from our warehouse in New Delhi within 1–3 working days of your order and payment being confirmed.

Within India, we ship via Bluedart to all serviceable pin codes. Shipping is free on orders above ₹790, and a flat ₹100 on orders below that. Once dispatched, your order usually reaches you in 1–4 days.

Internationally, we ship via FedEx/DHL to the USA, UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Bahrain and South Africa. Shipping is calculated at checkout (depending on weight), and delivery typically takes 7–15 days after dispatch. Please note that international prices cover shipping and product only — customs and duties are paid separately by you on delivery (see below).

Tracking your order: Use the Track Your Order link in the footer along with your order number.

A note on delivery dates: we can commit to dispatching on time, but once a parcel leaves us, we can't guarantee an exact delivery date, as couriers and customs can be affected by circumstances outside our control. If anything delays your shipment, we'll let you know.

If goods are damaged or lost in transit, we will replace them at no cost.


Please Check Your Address

We aren't responsible for deliveries that fail because of an incorrect or incomplete address, so please double-check your details at checkout. If a package is returned to us because of a wrong address and has to be re-shipped, this incurs a triple shipping charge.

Prices and shipping policies may change without prior notice.


Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

For orders shipped outside India, import taxes, customs duties and clearance fees are charged by the destination country and must be paid by the recipient, directly to the courier at the time of delivery. These charges vary widely from country to country and are outside our control — we cannot predict them, so please check with your local customs office. Customs clearance can also add to delivery times.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • As the recipient, you are the importer of record and responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported into your country. Products and their materials may not be designed to meet local standards or labelling requirements.
  • Sending a gift? Please let the recipient know to expect it. If they refuse the parcel thinking it was sent in error, it's returned to us as undeliverable.
  • Cross-border shipments may be opened and inspected by customs. To help clearance, we may share basic order and product information (such as item titles) with our carriers and customs authorities.

Returns & Refunds

First, a word about our products. Everything we make is handcrafted by skilled artisans, so each piece is unique and varies slightly from the next. Tool marks and small imperfections aren't flaws — they're the signature of genuine handwork. With handmade paper, brass and teak wood, you'll always find some natural variation in colour, texture and finish between what you see online and what arrives in your hands.

That said, we stand behind our quality. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we're happy to help.

Please note: Our return service is available for orders within India only. International orders are not eligible for return. (Items lost in transit are still replaced free of cost, as noted under Shipping.)

When you can return an item

  • The product has a genuine quality issue or a manufacturing defect.
  • You received the wrong item.
  • The item was damaged in transit, and you did not accept delivery.
  • We couldn't ship your order within the stated timeline.
  • You simply don't like it, or it didn't meet your expectations — in this case, just return it unused and in its original packaging. We'll arrange a free pickup and issue a refund once it reaches us.

Return windows: Let us know you'd like to return an item within 3 days of receiving it, and arrange the return within 7 days of receiving it.

When we can't accept a return or refund

  • The item is returned used, damaged, or mishandled.
  • It's returned after the return window
  • The delivery address was incorrect or outdated.
  • The courier made 2 failed delivery attempts.
  • The recipient refused the package.
  • Retail store purchases cannot be returned through our online store.

Received a damaged, defective or wrong item?

Email us at customercare@anandprakash.com within 24 hours of delivery. Please keep all packing materials and the item itself. We'll guide you through the next steps and ship a free replacement as quickly as possible.


How to Return an Item

For orders within India, if you're not satisfied with your product, you can simply avail our return service — just let us know within the return window, and our team will arrange the pickup and help process your refund. Here's how it works:

  1. Email customercare@anandprakash.com. Our team will check the timelines, product type and warranty terms, and confirm your refund or exchange.
  2. Pack the product carefully in its original packaging so it isn't damaged on the way back.
  3. Label it with your order number, our return address (below) and your own address.
  4. We'll arrange a pickup of the item from your address. Our team will share the details with you once your return is confirmed.

Your return is processed once we receive the product undamaged — no scratches, dents or wear and tear.


Refund Timelines

Once your returned item reaches us (usually within 1–7 days of pickup), we'll confirm its status by email/phone and initiate your refund. Refunds are completed within a minimum of 15 days and credited to your original payment method. If it's a COD order, we will refund to your bank account.
